stenberg
event producer and professional barista
just a little about iita
I am Iita Stenberg, a culture producer who found her own path in events by chance. I have worked as a barista for ten years, and during these years I have been able to get to know the coffee community in Helsinki and Finland. That is when I also discovered coffee events; those are like professional events, with educational and inspiring programs, but also more entertaining programs. I found home in them.
On these pages you can get to know me as a producer. You will find my expertise in various areas, such as Project Management, Leadership and Coffee. My work experience mainly comes from scouting, barista work and project-based events.
Feel free to contact me if I have any expertise that could be useful to you or your company!

and little bit more <3
Hi!
I am a cultural producer from Helsinki. By nature, I am ambitious, cheerful and unyielding. I have my own personal laugh, which is probably the first thing that identifies me. I dare to be myself and I also want others around me to feel safe. The values that are important to me are equality, sustainable development, accessibility and multiculturalism.
I mainly work with coffee events. I turned to coffee events inspired by my passion for specialty coffee. I have worked as a barista for ten years, and I have developed a strong connection to specialty coffee and the Helsinki coffee community. Now I want to understand what coffee means to the nation that consumes the most coffee in the world.
Although I am a coffee nerd and could lecture for hours about coffee, I am above all an event producer. I find my knowledge of coffee and the industry that operates around it to be a great advantage. I have experience from parties to webinars and cupping events to various competitions. Project management and keeping track of things are my strengths. In addition, leadership comes naturally to me. I dare to implement even the wildest ideas, there is always a way to implement everything, as long as I have the time to think!
I am a team player who gets more energy from other types. The best possible result is created when you get to throw ideas around with a multidisciplinary group. The best thing about coffee and professional events is that you get to make the program for people who are interested in the topic.
I have a long background as a volunteer in scouting. I have been involved in scouting since the third grade and during my scouting days I served as a scout leader and a wolf cub pack leader, or akela, in our flag unit, and as the vice chairman of the Samoa committee in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area Scouts.
